Lets Get On The Bus (5I)

On Monday my roommate had a sudden urge for froyo. Immediately, I said no. I thought about it some more and the idea became more and more pleasing. 5 minutes passed and I looked at her and said, “LETS GO!”

We looked online at the CT Transit website to see what time the bus would pick us up from Southern. It was easy and we found a fairly reasonable time to go. The trip was so last minute and I was excited to go. We walked down under the bridge to catch the bus.

To get downtown it took us 10-15 minutes and there was a froyo place right around the corner named “Polar Delight”. Walking in it was a cute little shop and it had so may delicious flavors that I have never heard of before! Walking down to the back of the shop I saw all the flavors, and Georgia Peach stood to me. It sounded so delicious I had to get it. I tried my best to keep it healthy so; I topped off the froyo with some white chocolate chips and strawberries. I don’t think I have ever eaten froyo so quickly; it was all gone within minutes.

Taking the bus was so easy, especially because the school provided us with bus passes that are really handy. Instead of scrounging up change, you can easily use the pass.

I didn’t really know how the buses worked. As I use them more often I’m getting more familiar with the schedule and the different stops that can transport you all around New Haven.
