As I was going through all the blogs, I really was looking
for work that I believed expressed A+ work. I came across a blog named Brown Eyed Bull by Laura. This blog caught my attention because
it had a different set up than the rest of the blogs. Her blog is set up in a
way that is very organized and fun way that attracts the reader to look deeper
into her posts. One post that really caught my attention was 7A: Failing as a
Success. She really makes the reader feel welcome and she expresses who she in
her own voice. I think that she brings a valuable element of connecting with
the reader. Going through her blogs I feel like she was directly talking to me
and she had insightful thoughts and ideas to discuss about different topics.
Another A+ blog would be The
Rest is Still Unwritten by Stephanie. This blog has a very intriguing
approach of keeping the reader interested. When I read some of Stephanie’s
blogs I found myself seeing things in different perspectives. One thing I
really like about her blog is that she uses a lot of very insightful quotes
that relate to the theme of her blog. Also she really does a great job of
painting a picture in your head when she is describing something. For example
in her 6V blog she talks about how she injured herself during soccer practice,
which caused emotional and physical pain in her life but she was still able to
do dance and focus on her studies. This blog knows how to keep the reader
interested. Whenever I read Stephanie’s blogs I’m hooked on from start to
finish. http://stepphhr7.blogspot.com/2013/10/8b-role-models.html
I think that A+ work goes farther than what is required. In
each of the blogs students should think farther into each of the concepts that
are taught in class. Not just talk about what we did in class but ask questions
and attempt to answer them, give personal stories, or express whether or not
you agree or disagree. The two blogs mentioned above have those qualities of A+
work.
