Sonia’s had great advice and feedback she presented to the
students who attended the assembly. They tried to make the assembly feel casual
by having Sonia and our Southern representative sitting in couches and
conversing. I think that the format of this meeting was done nicely. They
brought up good questions for Sonia to answer. One thing that struck me was the
way Sonia answered each one of the questions with intense depth. She had
insightful, and really inspirational responses and advice. At one point she
began talking about happiness and my full attention was focused on her.
Happiness comes when you make the best of things. You have
to accept what you have in your life, or what life gives you and create the
happiness. It doesn’t just show up on your front door step, you have to make it
yourself. Surrounds yourself with people who make you happy, find a job that
brings you joy, and eventually find that one person who brings you the most
happiness. I really took that advice to heart and one day when I begin to live
my own life as an independent adult I will need to find happiness where ever I
am. If I cannot find happiness then I need to find it. Happiness is very
important and I cannot imagine living without it, therefore in my future I will
make sure that happiness is a key element in my life.
